Windows Support Engineer
Location: Hemswell Cliff
Length of Contract: 3 months (may be extended by a further 3 months)
Daily Rate: £100 - £150 Daily
The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support to the Information Systems function and assist with merger related technical requirements.

*To provide specialist IT engineering support to the Information Systems team.
*To maintain and repair on-site IT infrastructure and applications including: Windows Servers & Clients and Physical Server and Client
*To assist with merger related workload
*To document existing systems
*To reconfigure systems to meet new policies and requirements such as:
oWindows Firewalls
oGroup Policies
oActive Directory Users
*To roll-out new client hardware
*To help and support 1st and 2nd Line Support with Desktop, Application Support, Hardware and Repairs

*Previous experience in a supporting and administering role based around a MS Windows environment
*Previous experience in providing technical and/or business information system support
*Knowledge of MS Windows Server 2003 onwards
*Excellent knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP and GPO's
*Supportive and approachable
*Excellent communication skills
*Willing to learn, change and adapt in a fast-paced environment
