Help Resourcing Limited are working with a large independent builders merchant. They have stores in London and Hertfordshire with over 280 staff and sell 22,000 different building, electrical, plumbing and DIY products to the construction industry.

They are a family run organisation who offer a very competitive package with great prospects within the company. They are also extremely well established with nearly 40 years experience in the industry. They are lookig to add a customer assistant to their shop floor team.

The Role:

  • Serving customers
  • Dealing with any queries
  • Assisting in stock replenishment on the shop floor
  • Assisting with deliveries in and out of the store
  • Dealing with any telephone queries effectively &communicating with customers and colleagues
  • Other sales related duties
  • Ordering goods

About you:

  • Knowledge of all aspects of building materials
  • Excellent customer service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Previous experience in a similar industry/sector is desirable

Working hours:

7.00am- 5.00pm Mon - Fri

7.30am - 4.00pm Every Second Saturday
