Business Development Executive for Young Environmental Tech Company

Linlithgow £25k Basic + £25k on target Bonuses

They are one of the UK's leading IT refurbishment companies helping hundreds of Schools, businesses and public sector organisation across the UK save money on their IT hardware. As a Microsoft Licensed Refurbisher, they do this by providing high quality refurbished IT equipment fully supported with up to 5 year warranties

Their aim in 2019 is to grow their sales by 70% in their target sectors. To help them to do this they are looking for an exceptional Business Development Executive to join their fast growing team

As the Business Development Executive you are responsible for:
- Generating and converting leads from their target sectors; Education, Local Authorities and NHS Trusts
- Building and maintaining fruitful lifetime relationships with existing customers

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation of their annual and quarterly marketing plans
- Collaborating with the marketing manager to follow-up on postal and email campaigns as set out in their marketing plan
- Placing sample units with key target market prospects to demonstrate the value of their products
- Attend agreed exhibitions with Pure IT to attract new target market leads
- Following-up on enquiries generated from exhibitions to convert into new leads
- Arrange sales visits to key target prospects

Key skills which will be required in this role:
- Confident and effective at communicating with customers, especially through phone and email
- Experienced in generating business from large organisations which require multi touch sales and marketing campaigns to convert into customers
- Confidence to persist with multi-level campaigns which may take months to convert their most valuable prospects
- Organised and disciplined at managing your own schedule
- Sensitivity to work effectively with their operations department while being considerate to their delivery pressures
- Good team skills to effectively collaborate with their marketing and administration team.

To succeed in this job you will need a proven track record of generating B2B leads, ideally within the public or education sector.

This is a full time role with a salary of £25k basic + £25k on target bonuses per annum. Other Benefits include a laptop and free parking.
