As an IT Support Technician, your main duties will include, but not limited to;

- Provide Support to their customer based on a 24 x 7 x 365 Rota
- Work to customer defined SLAs
- Provide a proactive approach to support
- Following company policy and procedures
- Ensure technical documentation is maintained and improved

The Following Technical Skills are Essential for the role;

- Previous experience of working on a fast-paced Service Desk.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- High level of written and verbal communication.
- Good working knowledge of Window Server based technologies; Server 2008 and above.
- Good working knowledge of desktop operating systems; Windows 7 and above.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.

The following Technical Skills are Desirable;

- CheckPoint / Sonic Wall firewalls
- Microsoft Exchange 2010 > 2016
- Office365 (extremely advantageous)
- VMware knowledge
- SAN Storage knowledge

The salary for the role is between £20,000 and £24,000 dependant on experience.

This role is based at the head office in Wigan, however from time to time you may be required to travel to customer sites, therefore your own vehicle and a full driving license is required.
