Finance Manager / Bookkeeper (Arts Agency)

An industry leading art tech company is looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Bookkeeper to join a rapidly growing business.

This is an amazing opportunity to work full time / part time hours over 5 days. For the right candidate this agency are flexible on working hours and duties undertaken but they ideally need someone who can balance the books 5 days a week.

The Finance Manager / Bookkeeper can expect a varied role with responsibilities including creating and managing invoices, daily bank reconciliation, processing purchase invoices and receipts, processing expense requests, accounts receivable and credit control as well as dealing with any client or supplier queries. If working in a full time capacity the Finance Manager / Bookkeeper will ideally have experience of preparing financial reports, forecasts and tax reports, payroll management and analysis of sales data.

To qualify. You should be an experienced Mid Level Bookkeeper / Bookkeeper / Qualified Bookkeeper or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Xero accounting experience essential;
  • Educated to a minimum of A Level/GNVQ or equivalent, in addition AAT is desirable;
  • Solid experience working in a similar bookkeeping and/or accounting role;
  • Experience with inter-company accounts and dealing with multiple entities;
  • Good working knowledge of VAT;
  • Strong IT knowledge and skills;
  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Ability to multi task and attention to detail;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.

An interest in the creative industries and fine art in particular, would make the position even more exciting and enjoyable but this is not at all required.
