Financial & Management Reporting Manager
Change Recruitment have an exciting new role with a leading service sector client based in Glasgow, who are keen to recruit an experienced Finance Manager that is keen on a progressive move within a large organisation. This role will offer an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team, play an active part in their development and will offer genuine promotion prospects within both local and wider UK operations. Reporting to a Senior Financial Controller, you will be tasked with managing a direct team of 6 and providing support to a team off-shore. The team is largely responsible for financial control for all cash, compensation and benefits arrangements across the global organisation. Key responsibilities: - Managing all aspects of cash accrual process globally (60,000 monthly) - Manage and enhance key stakeholder relationships - HR, IT, Treasury, Group Finance etc. - Oversee currency hedging and FX process - Manage production and delivery of management reporting, which includes global, regional segmental and legal entity reporting - Ensure robust control environment and oversight of SOX compliance - Participate in Risk & Control Assessment process for SOX and external audit reviews - Drive continuous process and system enhancements / improvements for efficiency and mitigating risks The role will involve working on key projects, reporting to various Project Leads and Senior stakeholders and will also have a global remit, therefore be tasked with participating and leading on key divisional updates. You will be a qualified accountant, be able to demonstrate a rounded commercial approach to control and analysis. The role also demands confidence in creating meaningful business relationships across multiple group functions and divisions.
