An award-winning team within a big, household consumer brand are looking for a Communications Specialist (SAE/AM) to join their dynamic and collaborative in-house team. The role offers fantastic opportunities to work across a mix of communications strategies, both proactive and reactive, as well as media campaigns, charity partnerships and events. With stores and franchises across the UK and an international reputation, this is a brilliant chance to gain high profile exposure within a hands on and versatile role.


Working closely with functional Heads of, as well as cross-departmental colleagues, identify and leverage positive stories from within the business, which are aligned to the Group’s strategic priorities
Support the delivery of a proactive reputation strategy to protect and promote the brand
Anticipate, identify and minimise emerging issues, which may negatively impact the Group’s brand and stores reputation
Work closely with Charity Partners, raising awareness both internally and externally
Increase colleague awareness of vision, purpose, values and behaviours to support development of the Group’s internal brand and culture
Design and execute internal engagement tactics which echo external activity


Experience across a broad range of communications disciplines – ideally both internal and external
Excellent organisational skills including the ability to produce high quality work to tight deadlines
Good understanding of consumer trends, including the influencer environment
Good understanding of the social, political and economic environment in the UK and Ireland
Strong ability to digest and interpret complex and detailed information
An independent thinker willing able to express and support a convincing point of view
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
