We have Coordinator positions available in our enthusiastic team in Reading!

Are you interested in helping people with a learning disability/Autism to progress into paid work? If so, we would very much like to hear from you!

We are currently looking for two full-time coordinators to work on the Building Better Opportunities / Stronger Together project. The role will be based in Reading, however, you will be required to work across West Berkshire.

You will need the ability to work on your own initiative and will be able to develop the service through proactive approaches. Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, employers, and other professionals is essential. The ability to maintain accurate and up to date records is required.

Prior experience in helping people who have a learning disability to obtain employment would be an advantage, however, a full induction programme will be provided and we would see the ability to enthuse and inspire as being of paramount importance.

Key skills & Experiences:
- Experience of welfare to work programmes desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of learning disability would be advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Willingness to travel
- Great team working skills
- Must be flexible to changing working environments
- Willingness to undergo additional training as and when required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help people with a learning disability and challenge attitudes towards learning disability as a whole.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours), fixed term post initially until 30 June 2020.
