Our client is a family oriented leisure business based just outside Ashby de la Zouch and due to continued expansion they are looking for an experienced Accounts Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join their small and friendly team.

The role carries single responsibility for accounting/finance functions, managing the office, and administration within the business. Tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Key Accounting Duties

* Extensive knowledge of Xero

* Coordinating all aspects of Purchase Ledgers and Sales Ledgers

* Co-ordinating and reconciliation of Wowcher/Groupon transactions

* Accruals, Prepayments and Journals

* Purchasing Control

* Depreciation

* Monthly payroll using Kashflow alongside employee administration

* Monthly VAT returns

* Cashing up, banking and Bank reconciliation

* Cashflow management

Key Administration duties

* Costings for shop, cafe and bar

* Stock control for shop, cafe and bar

* Setting up and reporting from 'EPOS now' management system

* Management and maintenance of company IT and cloud operations
