HEAD OF MARKETING - £50,000 - £60,000 PA - HUNTINGDON.

Are you an accomplished Head of Marketing from an insurance or financial service background?

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Based in Huntingdon and offering a comfortable Salary band between £50 - £60k. You will be responsible for the following:

To manage the Group and its subsidiaries Marketing and PR functions.
Co-ordinate and manage all marketing, lead generation and digital activity
Craft marketing strategies for the retail and wholesale including:
Developing and managing campaigns both B2B and B2C
Leading and developing marketing plans for all offices
Leading and developing marketing plans for all owned branches
Leading communication both internally and externally across the whole group
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
Familiar with CSR and the benefits within marketing
The brand guardian across the group
Act at all times for the exclusive benefit of the businesses and their customers
To lead and deliver by our corporate values ensuring positive outcome for our customers and all stakeholders
To ensure the Marketing Department adheres to the required corporate, FCA standards and regulatory bodies

Key Skills/Competencies & Qualifications

Work experience as Head of Marketing, preferably within insurance industry or financial services
Experience running a successful marketing department, marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives
Solid knowledge of current digital strategies including online campaigns
Experience with CRM software
Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
ACIM or a blend of Chartered and Degree qualifications in Marketing, PR and or relevant field
A collaborative and innovative approach to working
Vision and enthusiasm
Act with integrity at all times when working with stakeholders
Excellent people skills and emotional intelligence
Experienced in crisis management

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Main accountabilities

Strategic

Gain a clear understanding of the business and its 3-year plan
To always focus of the customer journey and how to improve the customer experience
Devise and implement appropriate full mix plans for each business unit
Create and develop digital strategies for the Group Retail and Wholesale subsidiaries
Ensure Group and the related companies achieve their marketing plans
Oversee the marketing support to all franchisees
Provide suitable marketing support for offices/branches development initiatives
Lead events across the group
To forecast, deliver and manage annual marketing and team budgets
To report, monitor and mitigate any risks to the business

Operational

Oversee the Public Relations services to Franchise Holders and all group companies
Create and/ or approve advertising, communication, PR and marketing initiative for the Group
Develop a range of marketing collateral for distribution to franchise holders
To work with key stakeholders such as Products, franchises support, compliance and IT
Update and maintain our online presence
Update and maintain marketing collateral
Produce quality PR plans and deliver the key messages
Produce and control communication to
Franchisees
All staff
Brokers
Customers
Report on Marketing monthly to various EXCO meetings
To attend monthly Retail and Wholesale EXCO meetings

People and relationship management

Oversee day-to-day running, including the management and development of staff in the marketing department.
Manage relationships with Press and other media
Manage and develop all key franchisee relationships

Compliance, Training & Development

Observe company procedures in the following areas to ensure the firm remains compliant with FCA and other regulations
Conduct Risk/ Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
Conflicts of Interest
Training & Competence
Financial crime including:
Money laundering
Bribery Act 2010
UK financial sanctions
Data security (including Data Protection Act)

Produce and maintain own personal development plan with your line manager
