Part Time Opportunity (22.5 Hours)

Our national Apprenticeship Accountancy team is growing and we are now looking for an experienced Business Manager on a part time basis.

Our Business Managers ensure our learners and employers are engaged with our trainers and that these relationships are cohesive and productive

Supporting our senior management team you will ensure agreed objectives and targets are met by providing leadership, clear direction and support across the team.

Other responsibilities include:

Ensuring our Trainers are motivated and equipped to deliver their role within the business.

Drive individual performance and conduct quality assurance checks including health and safety and safeguarding.

Identify, address and manage performance and operational issues within the team.

Support the Head of Department in driving change in a positive and influential manner.

Undertake accurate assessment of staff performance by tracking KPIs in monthly 121 and caseload review meetings

Empower the team to deliver excellence to their learners, whilst meeting and/or exceeding contract targets

Adopt a flexible working approach including travel to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks pertinent to the effective day to day management.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in working in a management role within an Accountancy focused environment .

Excellent track record of improving and maintaining performance

Experience of apprenticeship or training programmes

Experience of stakeholder engagement

Self-critical, with a view to always improve solutions and processes

Ability to motivate others and challenge failing performance whilst establishing plans for improvement

Creative - Ability to identify and articulate delivery solutions

Ability to engage and network with others resulting in the sharing of best practice

Proactive, highly motivated with an enthusiasm to meet client requirements

Ability to multi task and work on a number of groups simultaneously

Excellent communication skills, particularly listening

Experience/understanding of Apprenticeships, Skills and Commercial training

Successfully meeting and managing challenging deadlines

Managing people resources

Presenting propositions/solutions

Good level of IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Manage, analyse and present MI data
