An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Little Sports Group for a highly driven Area Manager to work for a leading children’s sports coaching company. LSC has operations across the North West of England.
LSC work in both the public and private sectors, employed by schools to provide curriculum time lessons, extra-curricular activities as well as offering soccer schools, dance and gymnastic classes and academies, holiday courses, children’s parties and we even have our own junior football club.

The Role…
The overall leadership and management of your region, including the on-going development of a high performing team. The CEO will provide a clear strategic framework that enables the delivery of our operational and financial targets, whilst ensuring a positive relationship with the organisation’s business and community partners. Our programmes will provide increased opportunities for young people to become engaged in sport. You will continue to grow the existing operation, which currently sits as a market leader in the region.
What you will be doing …
* Developing the LSC brand through lead generation, sales and growth of the company’s activities in the Greater Manchester area.
* Managing our delivery of curricular, extra-curricular, weekend and school holiday activities.
* Leading our team of coaches to deliver the highest quality of service to our partners.
* Responsible for measuring performance, reporting and keeping our systems updated.
* Managing the effective use of resources including equipment and vehicles.
* Working closely with the marketing function to promotion/market our range of programmes and activities.
* Working 40 hours per week.
We would love to meet someone with …
Essential
* Experience in lead generation, sales and marketing.
* Experience in leading, managing and developing people.
* Experience of working in a sports or educational setting.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
* Experience of delivering sports in schools to children aged 4-12 years old.
* Experience of working towards and delivering operational and financial targets.
* A minimum of a national governing body level 2 in one sport or a degree level qualification.
* Up to date First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.
