SF Recruitment are working in partnership exclusively with an Education Trust in Loughborough to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk based in Loughborough. The Trust is a network of unique and diverse academies, committed to becoming one of the top-performing multi-academy trusts in the country. Recognised as one of 11 system leaders nationwide, the Trust works with 34 primary and secondary schools across the country and with 1,900 employees and 12,000 students.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices on to the accounting system
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Checking and processing employee expense claims
- Proactively assisting the finance function in various areas when required
- Assisting with preparation of VAT returns and bank reconciliations
- General administrative duties, including answering the phones, taking messages and assisting with queries

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Self motivated, inquisitive approach to learning
- Reliable
- Intermediate Excel User
- Strong GCSE grades, including Maths and English

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a minimum of 6 months or so purchase ledger experience. In return, the successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will receive:
- £16,000 - £20,000 depending on experience
- 30 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
