Page Personnel are in partnership with a hugh innovative business to recruit for an accounts assistant to join their accountancy team based at their head office in Ellesmere Port.

Our client are an exciting business and unique business but imperative to their industry. They provide high quality tailored solutions to global partners. Due to growth they are seeking an accounts assistant to join their established accountancy team in their Ellesmere Port office.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:

  • Account, bank and statement reconciliations
  • Overseeing the purchase and sales ledgers
  • Compiling reports and returns

  • Facilitation with 3rd parties

  • Following outstanding items

  • Deal with queries from internal and external parties

  • Credit control duties
  • Liaising with Sales managers, highlighting queries and instances of non-payment
  • Adhoc support with the accounts team

Profile

The successful Account Assistant will:

  • Have experience working in a finance team
  • Experience of invoice processes
  • Daily use of Excel
  • Accounting packages such as Sage would be highly advantageous
  • Have previously worked within a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Deal well with pressured workloads
  • Have an extremely flexible approach to work
  • Well well as a team or independently where required
