Content Marketing Executive

Based: Central London

Salary £35,000 - £50,000

This is a high-profile role in the organisation. The ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional, preferably with a writing background. You will have a passion for developing engaging content in order to attract and retain customers.

What you will be doing: -

  • Design, develop and deliver a best in class marketing and communications strategy
  • Build and manage a rich content and editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.)
  • Create, manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraging SEO, social, inbound marketing, email, mail/print campaigns and events to drive customer acquisition
  • Optimise marketing automation and lead-nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and converts customers
  • Create, edit, proofread and improve content
  • Optimise content considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Create monthly reports containing a robust description of monthly activity with recommendations on ongoing improvements.
  • Propose new and improved inbound marketing campaign ideas
  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement

What you need to have: -

  • Passion for what you do.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven work experience as a Content Marketer, Copywriter or Technical Copywriter in a B2B business.
  • Proficiency in Content Management Software
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
  • Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Expertise in marketing automation and blogging software features
  • Data driven and research oriented
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • High level understanding of the IT business is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
