Store Manager - Charity Retailer - Bicester- Up to £21,000

Our client is a well recognised and morally conscious charity that is looking for a new Store Manager for the retail side of their business. Ideal for an experienced retail manager who is looking for a unique and rewarding challenge, our client is looking for a proactive leader with an excellent communication and keen eye for merchandising. Working closely with a volunteer work-force, it is vital to have excellent inter-personal skills and be passionate about creating a strong team ethic and a sense of community within both the store and the local area.

Store Manager - Requirements

  • Experience in the management of a 'High Street' retail environment - ideally within the charity or fashion sectors
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Passionate about delivering high customer service standards
  • Flexible working patterns over a 7 day period (working 5 out of 7)

Store Manager - Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the retail store
  • Actively recruit, Manage and retain volunteer retail assistants
  • Health & Safety Management
  • Drive strong visual merchandising standards within the store
  • Ensure excellent levels of customer service within the site
  • Staff Scheduling across a volunteer work-force
  • Ensure all administrative functions are completed correctly
  • Stock Management
  • Drive excellent relationships within the local community to generate stock donations
  • Be a general ambassador for the charity at a local level
  • Financial Management
