About the Role We are on the hunt for a talented Product and Portfolio Champion to join our clients' expanding team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for you to get your foot in the door with a fantastic brand within the food and drink industry. In the position of Product and Portfolio Champion your work will be primarily focused on the development of new products in our clients' portfolio. About the Employer Established over 150 years ago, our clients’ brand is one of the most highly reputable in the world of food and drink. Best known for their work in Coffee, their brand has become one of the most popular in the UK, now supplying coffee and related products to a broad range of clients including a number of high street giants. Key Responsibilities As Product and Portfolio Champion you will be at the forefront of our client's product portfolio, working closely with key influencers to shape new strategies and communicate them effectively to the customer facing teams. Your passion for the product will motivate teams across all departments to make efficient use of tools in order to deliver new product launches on time. Your thorough understanding of each product and its' category will ensure the right products are available to new clients and markets, and most importantly that they reflect the needs of the customer. The marketing team will utilise your up to date information decks for the purpose of creating external communications to customers. About the Person While it isn't essential to succeed in your role as Product and Portfolio Champion , it would be beneficial that you are from a hospitality background, ideally with a focus on Coffee products. You should have at least 3 years' experience working at supervisory level in a Product Management environment. You are someone who has the ability to make strategic business decisions and communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels. You have a 'can do' attitude and are quick to see problems through to the point of resolution. As you will be responsible for managing multiple products at once, you should be able to demonstrate a high level of organization along with the ability to prioritise effectively. In your previous experience you will have successfully delivered product roadmaps and are able to demonstrate an understanding of stage gate process. The Reward In return for your hard work and expertise, you can expect to receive a competitive salary of circa 30k with a highly competitive benefits package including pension.
