This role is part time 2 days per week at £16/hour and offers the option of flexible working patterns.

A digital advertising agency is looking for a financial assistant to help support their rapidly growing business. The role involves aspects of office administration including managing all aspects of the accounts to trial balance.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be a reliable, experienced AAT Qualified or Finalist who can demonstrate your ability to be flexible and work on your own initiative.

Duties include:
- Collate purchase orders and sales invoices from CRM system and upload to Sage
- Credit control and collections
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders and post to Sage
- Resolve customer and supplier queries
- Batch supplier payments for authorisation, post to Sage
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Draft journals for work in progress, salaries, prepayments, accruals, depreciation
- Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns
- Manage the department expenses

The company offers flexibility within this role which they expect to grow with the company. You will have the opportunity to work remotely where appropriate but regular trips to the office will be necessary, so it is important that you are local to Brighton.
