A brand new opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage all of the financial and accounting requirements for a growing business based in Dorking.

Description

  • Book-keeping, processing sales and purchase invoices and journal entry
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and FX revaluations
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner
  • Payroll including permanent and temporary staff
  • Implement controls around, and closely manage, the day-to-day expenditure of the company
  • Preparation of month end and year end accounts
  • Dealing with accountants/ external auditors
  • Daily cash management and preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Sales reporting
  • Preparation and development of commercial financial analysis, to support the wider business
  • Tax and VAT; constantly developing tax and VAT policies to ensure the organisation is as efficient as possible
  • Analyse current finance processes and advise upon efficiency gains
  • Ensuring that processes and systems enhancements are delivered consistently throughout the business
  • Any other Financial/Accounting duties as required

Profile

  • Part Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of professional finance experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and track through to conclusion
  • You enjoy working independently and enjoy taking the role on from top to bottom
  • Proficient in using Sage and Microsoft Office e.g. Word & Excel

Job Offer

Salary £35-45k
