Project Manager - Infrastructure/ Transition

An Infrastructure Project Manager is required by a leading organization based in Basingstoke where you will be working on a large-scale Transition programme. As the Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be required to plan and manage all aspects of the end to end transition of a particular estate to the in-life support teams. In addition to the core competencies of project management, the Infrastructure Project Manager should have the ability to provide and receive feedback with the implementation and in-life support team to enable transition activity.

You will be responsible for the tracking of delivery against the programme plan and maintaining up to date communications with the other project managers to ensure everyone are aligned in progress and addressing any RAID items appropriately as a team. You will be accountable for the translation of transition responsibilities into actionable deliverables as well as the approaches for executing transition.
You will scope, create and manage the project plan (high level and low level) with associated resource requirements.

Along with strong Project Management experience and particular some technical exposure to complex IT transition, you will also have the following:
-Experience of working in a high pressure programme environment Experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels.
-Prince 2 Practitioner/APM or PMI OR ITIL Foundation
-Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
-Be able to manage diverse and challenging stakeholders
-Good communication skills and confidence to present solutions to potential customers
