Senior Business Analyst
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
Location: Bournemouth

My client is one of the largest insurance companies offering a variety of products. They are now looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Business Analyst to join their team to work with the operational business units to define requirements.

This role will be situated in the Bournemouth area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple projects concurrently or as part of a larger Programme, providing business analysis skills to help the projects/programme deliver and achieve its defined business objectives
  • Responsible for investigating operational requirements, problems and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
  • Plan and document own analysis approach and support other BA's where needed, completing deliverables as agreed with the PM in line with the Project Plan
  • Define business analysis scope and priorities for projects and be able to complete large scale scoping exercises
  • Analyse requirements with the appropriate combination of models, prototypes, scenarios and conversations checking for necessity, consistency and feasibility.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 1-2years experience within financial sector is essential
  • Demonstrate effective stakeholder management, including identification, engagement, investigation and resolution of stakeholder issues appropriate to the defined outcome
  • Extensive experience and strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Able to demonstrate the influence of company strategy on approach and recommendations
