We are better positioned for growth, and in how we build influential relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Against this backdrop we are creating a high-performing, credible and value-adding Bid Excellence function, the purpose of which, working in partnership with the business, is to win work with profitable, sustainable clients. Key responsibilities: • Contribute to the stop/go decision, providing opportunity evaluation advice. • Advise the bid team on client scoping calls and meetings, ensuring that we fully identify the client’s needs. • Manage the bid from opportunity identification through to project delivery, providing valuable input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design. • Be responsible for preparation of the bid document and associated materials, with a laser focus on the creation of bid content and messages that focus on the client’s needs. • Lead bid planning meetings to establish win themes, competitive strategy, proposition development and commercial approach. • Rehearse and coach bid teams in preparation for formal presentations and associated meetings. • Project manage the process from inception to bid de-brief (win/loss reporting). Qualifications Required: • Demonstrable experience in bid management. • Strong written English skills. • Excellent communicator and good persuasive skills. • Proven ability in planning, producing and delivering high quality compliant proposals. • Ability to manage multi-worksteam opportunities. • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
