We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to join an established team for an award winning Investment fund business. Based within their central London finance team, reporting to the Head of Financial Control. You will support the financial analysis and insight across group level projects and change programmes. The position Responsible for the monthly preparation of project related financial modelling, forecasts and variance analysis for all projects and strategic change programmes. Accountable for investigating all variances to budget and undertake any ad-hoc analysis as directed by the Head of Financial Control. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for Project Boards and Steering Committees ensuring key highlights and risks/issues are communicated. Work with Head of Financial Control on integration of project and strategic change budgets and forecasts. Responsible for proactively supporting the co-ordination of all processes and activities related to project and strategic change budgeting and forecasting. The person Successful candidate will be a part/qualified accountant, or hold CCAB or equivalent qualification. You will ideally will have at least 2 years experience in management accounting or financial planning and analysis. Demonstrate highly effective communication skills including the ability to build good working relationships at all levels both internally and externally whilst managing expectations throughout. Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, skills in VBA would be desirable. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to analyse a large volume of data and present the information in a reporting format essential.
