Senior Marketing Executive
Job Summary We are currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our team in Potters Bar on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract, with scope to move to perm. Day to day support of specific marketing projects and initiatives. Project managing activities on occasions. Effectively liaising with sales and other stakeholders in order to support the sales and marketing plans Duties / Responsibilities 1.Support and actively contribute to the following marketing activities, within agreed timescales, budget and in a compliant manner. •Research on relevant target markets, competitors and investment funds. Provide recommendations on areas of development/targeting. •The development of new and existing products, including marketing campaigns. •The development, maintenance and refreshing of marketing related material to ensure it is relevant for the market and user friendly. •The development and updating of the Canada Life website – consumer and IFA sites. •The development and management of the corporate client communication process. In order that there is a consistent corporate message to our customers. •Engage and communicate with the design team, working in conjuction with them on marketing literature, events and project work. •Emails – Delivering the regular and ad-hoc sending of emails. This includes creating, testing, sending, scheduling and reporting. •Supporting the Marketing Manager with ongoing projects and day-to-day tasks. •Webinar events – Promoting, setting-up, running and reporting. •Work with Strategic Accounts in providing marketing support for Network Panel placement •Manage Social Media Content 1.Provide project management leadership on the above activities. 2.Provide support to other areas of the business in the delivery and enhancement of the support provided to the sales teams and key IFA's. 3.To continually review and improve the department’s processes and structure to ensure that the area delivers services and support at levels of quality and productivity consistent with business objectives Knowledge / Experience / Skills •Strong Understanding of relevant Canada Life Products •Good understanding of IFA’s / intermediaries and ability to meet their needs •Good understanding of Project Management is an advantage •Ability to plan ahead anticipating and managing change •Proactive approach and experience to working to deadlines •Good interpersonal and communication skills •Competent with systems such as Salesforce, Pardot, GotoWebinar, Adobe Acrobat and DotApprove •Obtained or be studying towards a marketing exam •Experience of CMS Systems and HTML editing for email and website projects Qualifications •Relevant Degree in Design / Marketing About Canada Life UK: Canada Life UK looks after the retirement, investment and protection needs of individuals, families and companies.
