Hays Education are very proud to be working on behalf of an Ofsted 'Outstanding' central Birmingham based secondary school in to recruit for a RE/RS teacher to start immediately. This is a full time teaching role, offered on a temporary basis to begin with.
Your new school
This school is a mixed secondary and sixth form who offer GCSE's and BTECs, with further A levels offered in the 6th form. Ofsted Outstanding and the proud owners of several awards including BIG (Bullying Intervention Group) for their work on anti-bullying. Your new role
In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to plan interesting and challenging RE/RS lessons that will engage pupils and you will have the natural ability to deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm. The role is offered on a full time basis and is due to start immediately. You will need to be experienced teaching up to KS4 and able to offer support to GCSE groups. Due to the nature of the role it is offered as a 'paid to scale' post (MPS/UPS).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you will have completed your studies and hold QTS. You will be an experienced RE/RS teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
