Support Consultant (Applications) – Poole

Salary: £25k - £35k + Bonus + Pension + Free car parking + 33 days holidays

The Role

An enthusiastic and versatile individual is required to join an established team providing the full range of technical services around the exceptional SAP Business One software for SMEs. As a Support Consultant you will be a key player of the project team which delivers outstanding ERP solutions for our clients customers. You will be responsible for the scoping, design, building and implementation of the technical aspects of projects (e.g. UDD -Upgrade Definition Document and associated Test Upgrade Platform Creation and Management). You will also be working with existing customers to scope and implement change requests to improve their SAP B1 systems. You will work closely with the Team Leader, Lead Consultant and the Project Manager.

Essential:

Applicants will have experience working in a technical capacity, within any leading ERP solution. Preferably with development or programming skills.

Strong Experience in MS Excel, MS SQL and Crystal Reports

Experience of training in small and classroom environments

Understanding of core logistical business processes

Understanding of ISO Information Security Awareness

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Good communicator with a professional telephone manner

Well-presented and a welcoming and friendly manner

Efficient and professional with a can do attitude

Advantageous skills:

Experience of an ERP System (SAP Business One, Exact, Navision, sage, etc…)

Accounting knowledge

Experience of Codeless BPA (formally Orbis TaskCentre)

Knowledge of a programming language such as VB, C# or Java

Experience of installation and configuration of business applications

Knowledge of Solver bi360, SAP HANA and Boyum add-ons e.g. B1UP

Understanding of the Windows platform/Networking to troubleshoot environmental issues

Preferable:

Qualifications and Certifications Minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - grade C or above SAP 9.3 preferable but not essential Degree Level Education preferable but not essential
