Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsibilities include managing the administration of the Purchase and Sales Ledgers, producing accurately reconciled month-end reports and ensuring that all purchase invoices are promptly authorised and processed on to the ledgers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the effective administration of the Purchase and Sales Ledgers
- Producing effective month-end reports that have been accurately reconciled
- Ensuring that all purchase invoices are promptly authorised and processed on to the ledgers
- Ensuring that cash is collected effectively for all sales invoices
- Producing effective weekly and monthly KPI’s that demonstrate the department’s efficiency
- Producing and implementing effective action plans to address any issues

Skill Requirements:

- Previous team management experience within finance
- Proven track record of implementing improvements and driving efficiency savings
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment
- Ability to identify the root cause of problems, develop solutions and manage / implement action plans
- Ability to reconcile complex ledgers, identify and resolve any reconciling items / anomalies
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills through all channels
- Strong MS Excel skills
