Nursery Manager - South Liverpool - Salary between £21,000 and £25,000
Your new nursery
This private day nursery is based in South Liverpool. It is a large nursery with spaces up to 90 children. You will work closely with the area manager and deputy managers within the nursery.
Your new role
Your daily duties will involve the running of the nursery on a day to day basis including financial operations, meeting targets set and managing the occupancy. You will need to be able to work independently and have strong time management skills in order to prioritise what needs to be done. This Manager role will require you to work 40 hours between 7:30am - 6:30pm across Monday - Friday. Between you and your deputy manager you will open or close each day.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of Level 3 in childcare, ideally with a qualification in management. You will have previously worked as a nursery manager for 2 years or more and be competent in using IT. You will need a strong understanding of the EYFS, policies, procedures, Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and child protection.
What you'll get in return
The nursery are will to pay between £21,000 - £25,000 a year dependant on experience. You'll receive the training and support you require to settle into this nurseries routine from a detailed handover with the current manager. The current manager has decided to leave after many years' service and recently relocating and the commute becoming too much.
