Role Profile Finance Consultant/Finance Manager

Location Basingstoke

Duration 6-9 Months with possible extension

The Role

To work closely with the current Finance Director and to assist the Finance management team by adding value and supporting the team through a period of transition.

Main Duties

* Productionof monthly management accounts and MI for stakeholders
* Production of short and long-term forecasts and budgets
* Oversee accounting systems and processes and ensure all aligns with group policy
* Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented, documented and maintained
* Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes
* Supporting in the preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
* Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports
* Assisting with Audit preparation
* Liaising with external stakeholders such as HMRC
* Financial modelling analysis
* Overseeing the Payroll process
* Handle various ad hoc, day to day financial projects or requests

The Person

We are looking for a process driven pragmatic person who is used to working in a busy environment and also excellent at working across a variety of tasks with a "roll the sleeves up" mentality. You must also have an engaging management style with the ability to drive teams forward.
