We are looking for a Marketer to take charge of PR, communication and promotion within our growing indie game company. It will be a diverse role where you’ll be looking at implementing and improving our current marketing strategy that we have in place for our solo title, Kenshi, which is growing in popularity. This will be a chance for somebody who thrives in a diverse and busy role, and a great opportunity to join a growing indie studio from the start of it’s expansion. Your work will vary from a mixture of data analysis, branding, and ad management, to more creative approaches to interacting with fans and influencers in a fun way.


* Monitor, analyse and interpret advertising and promotional campaigns across a variety of media channels
* Store page optimisation
* Handle external partners (media, advertising / PR) and distribution accounts
* Syncing major announcements and social media posts with Chinese and Japanese PR partners
* Assist in the creation of marketing assets for campaigns, events and social media
* Community management
* Creating and scheduling regular content. A mixture of games promotion, brand messages, behind-the-scenes and creative Kenshi related things on all social media channels.
* Work in collaboration with the team to create engaging and original content including blogs, vlogs, articles and Mailchimp newsletters to promote the studio.
* Management of studio website using WordPress

*To be considered for this role we’d need to see:*

* Ability to work autonomously, on own initiative
* Strong marketing background with at least 1 to 2 years experience OR relevant academic achievement
* Excellent knowledge of the PC games market
* Social Media management and User Acquisition knowledge
* Confident communication style
* Love of games and understanding of the industry
* Strong background executing brand campaigns focusing on player value in a distinctive, engaging manner
* Creativity, utilising your marketing skills to analyse the best approach
* Excellent English, both written and spoken
* Must be willing and able to work in Bristol, UK.

*Optional bonus skills that may come in useful (but definitely not essential):*

* Graphic design
* Video production
* Fluent Japanese or Chinese
* WordPress experience


* Part time or full time depending on candidate
