Graduate Engineer (Preventative Maintenance)
This Lancashire based business manufactures a range of specialist foam products used predominately in the automotive goods market, as well as in industrial, footwear, medical and hygiene industries. They work on an international scale and are the leading manufacturers of foam in the UK.
They are seeking a graduate to lead the implementation of a new PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) computer system. The new apparatus will acknowledge both proactive and reactive maintenance, and you will work with the Engineering Manager, Maintenance and Operations Teams to ensure detected issues are resolved and improvements are made to the up-time of machinery and plant. You will receive training to support the development of the system before providing regular reviews to the site management team.
You will be an engineering graduate in either the Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical discipline, and able to work both independently and within a team environment. The company is looking for someone, who is enthusiastic about engineering, has good problem-solving skills and a strong willingness to learn.
This is a graduate internship for a minimum of six months with the chance to become permanent if the candidate is available. Salary: £19,266 Pro Rata.
