REGISTERD CHILDRENS HOME MANAGER - 5 BEDROOM - WEST BERKSHIRE- £45K PLUS - UPTO 12% BONUS - PLUS BENEFITS
Our client is looking for a Home Manager for their 5 bedroom Children's Residential Home based in Berkshire. The service home provides a warm, caring, family style home for looked after children with emotional, learning, social and behavioural difficultieS.
As the Registered Home Manager you will be expected to lead, inspire and mentor your colleagues to ensure the emotional needs of the Children and Young People in your care are being met. You will be regularly monitoring and reviewing employed policies and procedures of the Home and further updating where necessary in order to keep in line with current regulations and best practice. The Home Manager will have a minimum of 2 year’s experience of managing a residential home for looked after children and young people
Skills and Experience:
·NVQ Level 4 Management, NVQ 4 Care or QCF Level 5. We will also consider outstanding applicants who can demonstrate an aptitude in management.
·Experience of budget management
·Experience of managing change
·Commercial awareness in a child centred business closely working with senior management team
·Motivation, flexibility and sense of responsibility
·A strong problem solver with a “can do” attitude
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills and IT literacy
