About the Role
We are looking for customer focused individuals to join our Customer Claims team on a full time basis at our Bournemouth office.
When customers call us about a claim, it'll be you that they speak to. And it’ll be your friendly, attentive telephone manner which will instantly put them at ease. You will do everything in your power to meet their needs; you’ll enjoy the fact that no two calls are the same; you will take responsibility for your own caseload and become the 'go to’ person for our customers.
You will be dealing with our customer's potential Buildings and/or Contents claims; liaising with our customers and suppliers and managing the claim until completion. We all know that excellent customer service stands out a mile, which is why you’ll pride yourself on treating every case individually, from start to finish, always working to the LV= quality standards.
With our comprehensive training programme you will be fully supported and will gain the knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service. Your role will be mainly phone based meaning that every day will be varied and challenging.

You’ll love talking to a variety of customers, clients and other members of LV= staff and you’ll go out of your way to proactively find answers to questions.
We’d like you to have a good customer service background where you have learnt the ability to deal with difficult problems and are able to solve these in the best way to help LV= and our customer. It would be really great if you had some experience in the world of Insurance, but if you don’t, you will have an eagerness to learn and be proactive in your role, as well as experience of working in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment. You’ll have great communication skills and the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment, and really positive and outgoing attitude to work.
This role is due to start on Monday 3rd June 2019
You will be required to work full time hours working 35 hours a week on a rota basis which will include 1 in 3 Saturdays.
The claims department is currently open Monday to Friday 8am until 6.30pm and Saturdays 8am until 4pm.
