Grounds Maintenance Operative x 4
We're currently recruiting for 4 Grounds Maintenance Operatives and are looking for exceptional people to apply.
As a valuable member of our Estates Services Team reporting to the Grounds maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the overall cleanliness, tidiness and maintenance of the Estate's communal external grassed areas, shrubs, hedges and beds, car parks and play areas.
We'll ask you to carry out such tasks as litter and leaves collection, mowing of grassed areas, general gardening duties (digging, planting, weeding and pruning) and transportation of grounds maintenance equipment using vans and towing trailers.
You may be required to use motorised equipment such as sweepers, cleaners, jet washers, leaf blowers and lawn mowers and you'll need to ensure that your work is recorded and that all repairs and issues are reported.
With a good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, you'll be able to organise and prioritise your workload. You'll already have experience of working in a grounds maintenance service environment and of shrubs and flower management.
Previous caretaking or cleaning experience will be advantageous. You will need a full manual driving licence and be able to drive.
We're looking for a flexible person with great communication and customer service skills.
In return we offer you a competitive salary and generous benefits package in a supportive environment.
