Purpose of the Junior Technical Support

To provide customers with the Bridge enabled equipment, a full monitoring and diagnostic service. Improving product performance and reducing equipment "downtime" to help with the efficient running of the customer service function. Delivering professional administration and interfacing between the Service Centre and designated customers through both the effective handling, and logging of appropriate calls from customers. Identifying and resolving technical issues over the phone with clients and as such delivering increased customer service without the requirement to send a field engineer to the site. Handling all inbound calls from designated customers, effectively logging the call, checking the information and passing the call to the appropriate Regional Service Controller. As required handling calls from field engineers to close calls and communicate that to the appropriate line as required.

The role requires working on a shift pattern that incorporates weekend working.

Requirements of the Junior Technical Support

* Excellent technical knowledge of PC, laptop and infrastructure hardware and operating systems, including those used in Glory Global Solutions.
* Intermediate to advanced excel skills
* Hands-on hardware or software troubleshooting experience
* Project Management skills would be beneficial
* Certifications in MS Operating Systems, A+ Certification and Microsoft Office applications
* Strong customer-service orientation with proven ability to communicate at all levels.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to conduct research into PC hardware and software issues
