We are looking for the right person with a passion for success to join our Leeds based Marketing and Graphic Design team.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be highly skilled, deadline driven with an unrivalled attention to detail taking great pride in creating the best materials possible. The Artworker will join an existing Graphic Design team of 3.
This role is advertised as full-time/ 4 days per week depending on the requirements of the successful candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Creating artwork for varying offline formats including packaging, presentations, adverts, marketing campaigns and brochures;
* Creating designs for online communications such as e-marketing communications and banner ads;
* Developing exhibition stand designs by following a specified design brief;
* Ensuring all artwork is delivered in line with Optimum Medical’s brand book;
* Working on a variety of different projects including typography, retouching designs, and layouts;
* Creating print ready artwork paying attention to design, typesetting, formatting and colour correction;
* Adapting artwork based on stakeholder feedback;
* Proofing your work before submission to ensure high levels of accuracy, suggesting improvements if required;
* Working to tight deadlines and prioritising work effectively;
* Maintaining and supporting the artwork saving structure and guidance;
* Being responsible for version control of all final artwork ensuring that the graphic design and marketing team can access documents with ease;
* Assisting the Marketing team to prioritise artwork projects across the design team;
* Working as a team together with Marketing and Graphic Design, and the wider business.
Essential requirements:
* 3-5 years’ experience in Artworker roles, either in-house or agency;
* Good working knowledge of Mac and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign;
* Experience in designing and creating packaging
* Experienced in creating, preparing, proofing and checking print-ready artwork;
* Excellent attention to detail;
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with a strong focus on hitting specified deadlines;
* Experience of working on multiple projects at one time;
* Proactive ‘can do’ attitude to your work;
* Excellent commercial awareness.
