Established over 14 years ago my client launched its inhouse brand a true fashion lifestyle brand with an authentic following which includes bloggers, celebrities, students and cool girls between 18 and 30 something.

As a multi-channel brand with a global reach, we carefully design footwear in-house for women and retail new collections across ASOS, Zalando, NA-KD, Simply Be and NEXT plus numerous other well-known retailers globally.

We are creative at every opportunity, presenting, promoting and telling our brand story in every campaign, offer and event and across every channel and due to continued expansion, we’re looking to recruit a Influencer & Social Media Executive to join our marketing team based at our new retail and creative studio in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, just a 10 minute walk away from major train stations.

Purpose of the role:

The role will be broadly responsible for creating and managing high impact social campaigns across multiple social media platforms for the brands. The successful candidate will design, produce, own and deliver an engaging content strategy and co-ordinate multiple paid social campaigns for our retail brands.

What we are looking for:

* Own the day-to-day management of multiple social media channels for our two major fashion brands

* Increasing brand / campaign awareness and drive up engagement, growing follower numbers organically and rapidly, pushing engagement to our new retail website.

* Create, own and manage multiple paid social media campaigns / promotions and report on engagement successes.

* Engage with appropriate (fashion) influencers across social channels that can assist in brand exposure and further build brand and traffic to the website.

* Work alongside in-house photographer/graphic design team to create engaging social content, both images and video based, using Adobe Photoshop/Adobe After Effects/Adobe Premier Pro applications.

* Demonstrable and high level functional and technical knowledge and experience in a biddable role (Instagram and Facebook Ad Platform) and reporting tools/apps.

* Experience of understanding our target customers, tone of voice and ability to drive performance whilst protecting brand values.

* Create inspiring e-mail content (email newsletters) via MailChimp to engage/re-engage/recruit new customers and to promote customer signup.

* Create and write SEO rich content for retail website and consumer blog portal (WordPress).

* Aptitude in maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

* Generate engaging and on-brand content to appeal to our target audience/reach business objectives.

* Ability to deliver a high standard of work with strong attention to detail within an agreed deadline.

* Collaborating with the Marketing Director on company branding and digital strategy.

* Propose new ways to attract candidates and social traffic – i.e., promotions and competitions and surveys.

* Produce reports based on measuring ROI to improve campaign performance, monitor engagement and sales out data related to promotions.

* Manage customer feedback and handle all queries for social customer service created on social account platforms, promoting excellent customer experiences.

* Ensuring a consistent message/style across all digital platforms in-line with brand guidelines.

* Work with other members of the team for the purposes of sharing information and best practice.

* Proactive approach to improving their knowledge and capability.

* To keep abreast of and feed in new innovations within the digital landscape to ensure our online presence keeps at the forefront of the industry.

* Contribute to an environment where everyone can collaborate on producing the very best work.

* In-depth knowledge of Facebook and Instagram and clear understanding of optimisation levels across biddable media platforms.

* Assist the roll out of new digital projects and website features.


* No specific qualifications are required but the candidate should be well educated - English and Maths at good grades at a minimum.

* HTML and basic design skills would be an advantage.

* Previous use Magento (E-commerce) platform would be an extreme advantage.

* Previous use MailChimp platform would be an advantage.

* Previous use Google Analytics and other analytics packages is required.

* Previous experience of social media management is required, proven track record.
