Desktop Support Engineer. My client, a large law firm based in Sevenoaks, are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced desktop support to staff by fixing any hardware or software problems. Whether it be computer, workstation, notebook, printer or other hardware, as well as all company software. You will be administering the group's server infrastructure and providing recommendations to improve existing solutions. You will be trusted to purchase additional hardware or software applying MIS and company policies and procedures. This role will be to protect the security of the company's systems and continue to upgrade the systems infrastructure as well as dealing with the MIS needs to maintain and improve on software licensing, user information, service desk communication, all company hardware and software security.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- 1st and 2nd line support experience
- MS Office 2010 - 2016 troubleshooting
- Intermediate MS Windows 7 - 10 experience/
- Intermediate AD and Exchange management
- Intermediate Windows Server knowledge 2008-2016
- Customer service
- Basic Citrix administration
- Basic VMware administratio
