Overview FPSG are working in close partnership with a market leading business based in Glasgow to recruit a Finance Manager for their team. This is a key role which offers significant scope for strategic input into the direction of the company's future growth. Reporting to the Managing Director and CEO, the Finance Manager will be required to control the finance function of the business, as well as providing reports and analysis on key performance and financial indicators for the business. Responsibilities Lead the Finance Team, ensuring it is correctly resourced to fulfil all finance functions required by the business. Manage the group's cash flow and working capital. Ensure year end reporting information is provided to external accountants in a timely fashion and ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met. Provide and upgrade existing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports on the financial performance across the business. Monthly Management Accounts Pack. Provide financial analysis of trends within the group's income streams, highlighting opportunities and risks. Provide daily, weekly, monthly and yearly financial analysis on profitable and loss-making products within our product range. Contribute fully to development of company strategy alongside Managing Director and CEO, challenging assumptions and decision-making where appropriate. Implement recommendations based on financial analysis to ensure the most profitable outcomes. Coordinate and set company policies regarding capital requirements, salary budgets, net profit targets, debt and taxation. Identify cost-saving, revenue generation and profitable opportunities, where possible. Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field. Professional Accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA preferred). A minimum of 3 years' experience in an e-commerce environment. Strong experience of Sage and Excel. Experience of providing strategic advice to directors/CEOs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
