Payroll & Purchase Ledger Manager
Clyde Munro Dental Group are recruiting a Payroll & Purchase Ledger Manager to join their Head Office team in Glasgow City Centre. Clyde Munro started from humble beginnings, having 7 dental practices in 2015, now running 21 practices and rapidly expanding their portfolio of dental practices throughout the coming months. This role will take responsibility for the day to day management of Payroll and Accounts Payables in a in a high volume, fast paced environment. You will manage a small team, ensuring that payroll and supplier payment deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience of running Sage Payroll and Accounts Payable, in small to medium sized businesses. Good Excel skills also essential (including lookups & pivot tables). Main duties include: Payroll : Managing 2 monthly payrolls in Sage (currently c. 180 employees, growing fast) Detailed knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments e.g. SMP/SAP, SPP and SSP. Administration of pension auto-enrolment processes Year-end payroll processing including P35 reconciliation, P60s and P11Ds Payroll journals and analysis Reconciliation of all payroll related accounts Accounts Payable : Overseeing payables ledger process on Xero accounting system, including supervision of a small team Statement reconciliation for key suppliers Coding and reviewing coded invoices, ensuring invoices are appropriately authorised in sufficient time to allow payment with in credit terms Ensure key suppliers are paid to terms in order to maximise rebate arrangements Matching and processing overheads invoices for various parts of the business Conduct a regular review of aged ledger balances to ensure credit balances are repaid or written off and unpaid aged items identified Can you demonstrate excellent management skills and great enthusiasm for motivating your team?
