This is an exciting career opportunity for a keen, motivated and experienced Finance / Purchasing Assistant to join a small finance team working for an established, privately owned semiconductor manufacturing organisation. The Role Working in this varied position your duties will include: Processing high volume, multi currency supplier invoices and accruals Assisting in the purchasing process Dealing with supplier queries Preparing and processing payment runs Processing Sales invoices Month end reporting and assisting with month end management accounts Submitting and processing Intrastat returns Foreign Currency Transactions Assisting with VAT returns This is a full time position working office hours Monday to Friday. Experience and Skills You must have proven experience of working within a similar role in a busy finance / procurement department. You will be a forward thinking individual with a positive attitude to your work as well as excellent numerical accuracy and a strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Excel essential and a track record of dealing with multiple currencies required. A working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be an advantage. Company Information Semefab is a silicon wafer foundry operation manufacturing microelectronics and Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) based in Glenrothes. We have expanded with the addition of a 150mm wafer fab.
