Job Title: Supplies Assistant Location: Brighton - Sussex Reports to: Supplies Manager Job Purpose An exciting opportunity to join our Supplies function in Brighton Nuffield Hospital to support the Supplies Manager and play a vital part in the efficient and effective execution of our supplies operation. Requirements for Post Previous experience in a stock administrator position is advantageous Excellent IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Office A flexible and proactive approach to working in a busy environment Good attention to detail Key Accountabilities To monitor stock and administrative operational activities Plan and assist the department in all stock counts and audits of inventory Co-ordinate work activities within the supplies department. Control and issue stock using the appropriate procedures and systems. Handle all enquires efficiently and effectively, escalating where necessary Ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and reported accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual processes, systems and formats. Produce accurate stock reports when required Ensure Hospital policies and procedures are followed during work activities at all times Core Competencies Customer Focus Proactively identifies the needs and expectations of customers and strives to meet these.
