Clinical Scientist ** Global Early Medicines Role ** Immunology ** Lead pre-clinical programmes & FTIH studies

Location: South-East, M4, West Greater London commutable from London, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire

This role will suit an experienced MD, with a background in Translational medicines and/or Immunology who wants to be the link and pivotal point between early development and commercial.

My client is seeking a Clinical Scientist for a unique early medicines role within their Translational sciences group. You will be leading pre-clinical programmes planning the early development strategies for numerous assets in Immunology / immuno-inflammation and also FTIH studies in the same therapy space.

You will be ensuring alignment of early clinical strategy and decision criteria with objective criteria within the TPVP, enabling seamless transition post-PoC to late phase development and ensuring clinical/medical feasibility of study protocols.

This organisation has steadily grown over the last 5 years due to innovative product development, a patient centric approach to medicines and allowing senior scientists the platform to be collaborate and creative, and this role will be a key component to further establishing its Immunology assets through an exciting and growing pipeline.

The position is graded at Director or could potentially be at Snr Director level and salary and package include a six figure basic salary, high level company bonus, car/car allowance, premium benefits package and LTis including a highly lucrative stock plan.

Experience needed:

Registered medical doctor (MD) with experience in clinical Immunology, Rheumatology or other relevant specialties e.g. Allergy, Dermatology
Experience in early drug development either as PI/sub-PI in external clinical trials as a practicing clinician, or gained via industry roles
Proven track record of successful leadership of and contribution to clinical/scientific projects
Strong academic and clinical record in relevant immunology or bone related specialty
Demonstrable knowledge of and strong aptitude for early clinical drug development.
