About the role As a Regional Engineer reporting to our National Engineering Manager, you’ll travel across the South East region to oversee, plan and manage all engineering activities within agreed performance boundaries. Ensuring demonstrable legal and corporate compliance of engineering plant/equipment and activities, you’ll continuously challenge the safety performance and standards of both plant and personnel, liaising closely with site managers and using loss data to analyse key performance ; Other key deliverables include: - Generation of engineering solutions and project scopes - Adopt and promote project management approach - Delivery of project solutions to Aggregate Industries standards - Working as part of a national engineering and project management team - Close liaison with suppliers of engineering equipment and services. - Development of engineering staff and contractors within the South East region About you - Ideally of graduate calibre preferably with Chartered status or an equivalent professional qualification in an engineering discipline, or an equivalent CPD record - Experience of high-level risk assessments - A first-class all-round communicator, influence and relationship-builder, capable of managing the surveying function to ensure we adhere to all engineering and structural designs - With a great eye for detail and results-oriented - Understanding of budgets, financial responsibility, analysis and forecasting experience and contract negotiations We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
