Project Manager - IT Finance Projects

We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager - Finance. Britvic are transforming to be a become a larger organisation so it's an exciting time to join. We are a SAP user and will be looking towards 4/HANA in the next 2 to 3 years. Ideally you will have worked with SAP previously. One of our key projects is to move from a 13 period calendar to a 12 month calendar. This role is more business partnering and facilitation rather than pure delivery. You will need to be a good team player and will also need to help with Testing and Release as this is done by the Project Managers owning the project rather than separate Test / Release managers.

You'd typically be looking after 5/6 Small to medium sized IT finance related projects totalling £ 2Million in which you'd need to get into the detail to find the right solutions. You'll be a budget owner and be managing the technical cut over. This role would ideally suit someone who has been working as a Project Lead / Junior Project Manager looking for a step up. The budgets you will handle are . Please note we are also open to taking someone who may not have everything we need right now but has the willingness to learn and we can help scale up.

Accountabilities

- Define and manage the detailed plan for each of the projects from High level designs, business cases, and shaping budgets.
- Work with system environment manager to ensure alignment with other projects
- Define the key milestones, dependencies and critical path for the project activities
- Ensure timely delivery of stage gate documents
- Manage and escalate issues as they occur
- Manage the activities of the development resource as appropriate to monitor progress and ensure that tasks are completed on time
- Define clear ownership, responsibilities and deadlines for the Test and Cutover tasks including test preparation tasks, development of test scripts for integration testing, development of test scripts for User Acceptance Testing, issues resolution and regression testing.
- Develop and manage the detailed Cutover plan to achieve a smooth transition for the business and minimal problems for the Business on Go Live
- Ensure smooth handover to the support organisation

Skills
- Project Management experience (pref. PRINCE2) but open to candidates who have the right attitude.
- Experience of managing multiple project concurrently
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with a range of contacts, especially the Business Team and the Competency Centre
- Business Change Management skills in order to ensure changes embed successfully
