Senior Database Officer
This is an exciting time to join an organisation where data is moving to the core of all our activity. The Senior Database Officer will play a fundamental role in meeting the department’s complex and varied data requirements.
Senior Database Officer
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full time)
Location: Kings Cross, London
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Circa £31,000 (Inclusive of London Allowance)
About the role
The main focus of the role is in delivering data selections and exports to all teams in the Supporter Engagement directorate. You will have a solid working knowledge - and experience of CRM database (ideally the Raiser’s Edge) querying and Boolean logic.
We have recently created a new Engagement Directorate that unites our Communications, Fundraising, Policy and Campaigns teams and are launching new strategies for both the organisation and the data team which will map a pathway to 2022. This will involve bringing our independent data sets together to create a "single supporter view" - with this deeper, more nuanced understanding of who supports us, we will be able to partner with them to deliver even more meaningful impact in the lives of people who are deafblind or living with other complex disabilities.
We are looking for a team player who has a sense of curiosity, a logical and investigative approach to problem solving and has an aptitude for scrutinising data. You will have an intuitive grasp of Fundraising and Engagement data, internal customer service and the importance of working to deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
For everyone living with complex disabilities. For everyone who is deafblind. Sense is here to help people communicate and experience the world.
We believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.
Sense has a proven record of offering high quality, pioneering services.
Working at Sense can be incredibly rewarding; we offer the opportunity to work in a large, diverse and successful charity where people can develop their skills, knowledge and careers in a supportive and flexible environment. In addition we have excellent training and development, the opportunity for you to join our Group Personal Pension scheme and a generous annual leave entitlement.
