Functional Assessor / Disability Analyst - RGN Or Physio
The Disability Analyst role is an attractive opportunity for experienced health care professionals allowing individuals to gain a better work to life balance, working Mon - Fri fixed 9 hour day shifts, whilst taking home a fantastic starting salary which is on the Band8a Pay scale. The role is perfect for those wanting a slight change of career, but still wanting to utilise the experience and knowledge they have obtained throughout their Career, whilst still holding their NMC Registration.
As a Disability Analyst you will carry out face to face examinations with disability claimants at an allocated assessment centre or within an individual claimants home, producing a detailed report on how their disability/illness affects their day to day living - to be reviewed by the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions). Thorough training and support will be provided to successful candidates throughout their first 2 months of employment, ensuring that they develop and become Certified Disability Analysts.
"The ideal candidate for the role will be a Registered Nurse or Phyisotherapist that has over 2 years post registration experience, with skill and knowledge in a wide variety of heatlhcare specialisms. Varied experience may be gained from working as a Bank or Agency Nurse / Physiotherapist in a variety of wards, by compelting a rotational postion within an Acute setting or generally from working in a variety of healthcare settings throughout an individuals carrer. The role taker will be a confident practitioner, able to communicate well with people of all levels and backgrounds, with sound healthcare knowledge and an interest to learn a new skill"
This is a full-time 37.5 hour per week contract, with a Mon - Fri 0830 - 1730 shift pattern.
- Current Eligibility to Live and work in the UK
- Current valid registration with NMC / HCPC.
- 2 years post registration experience as a Registered Nurse (Adult) or Physiotherapist.
- Rotational / Broad based healthcare experience and knowledge compulsory to role.
- Excellent Observation and decision making skills.
- Report writing skills
- Strong will to learn a new skillset
- Great interpersonal and Communication skills.
- Good IT skills, being able to use a laptop and IT Systems / Use of Office.
