IFA Administrator , Ferndown

The Work Shop are pleased to be working with a firm of independent Financial Advisors and due to growth they are looking to recruit an experienced and driven administrator who has previous experience working with Independent Financial advisors

The primary responsibility will be to offer all necessary administrative support to the financial advisors, including researching products, providers and investments, in order to help provide a solid base for any recommendations made by the advisors to their clients.

Duties will also include:-

* Accurately maintaining clients personal details and policy information

* Assisting with the construction of investment portfolios

* Helping advisors prepare for client appointments by compiling client meeting packs and supporting documentation

* Submitting applications to product providers

* Assist with monthly income reconcilliation

* Utilising a number of software packages required during the advice precess such as O&M, Selectapension and FE Analytics.

The following skills and experience is required:-

* Previous experience supporting Independent Financial Advisors in an administrative role is essential for this position.

* Good industry knowledge with a commitment to ongoing personal development.

* Experience using investment platforms and good competency using back-office systems.

* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

* Client focused with the ability to maintain strong customer relationships.

This role may also offer the chance to train to become a qualified Paraplanner

This is a full time permanent role working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday.
