Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive LSA / Learning Support Assistant? Can you take direction from a class teacher and fully support them in delivering engaging lessons?

An EBD School or PRU in Liverpool for students with emotional and behavioural difficulties and have been excluded from a mainstream setting (KS3&4) requires a talented LSA / Learning Support Assistant, trained in NVQ level 3 or equivalent. Any Team-Teach training would be beneficial too.

The school caters for Secondary students who will usually have an Education, Health and Care Plan / EHC Plan, as well as those under the care of the Local Authority. We are looking for teachers who are able to deliver a range of subjects to a good standard, including GCSE level English, Maths or Science. You must be able to engage with the students, gain their trust and help them to develop essential skills for life beyond education. The students are vulnerable and will need that little bit extra support.

The ideal ESBD / Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties LSA / Learning Support Assistant will ideally have:

Level 3 NQV qualification with EBD experience.

The ability to follow instructions set by the class teacher.
Have a positive attitude towards teaching.
The ability to build good relationships with the pupils who will need that extra support.
Fantastic classroom management.
