Our client, an IT Support company based in Aldershot, Hampshire, are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their expanding team. Our client provides a range of IT support services to small and medium sized business across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. They pride themselves on providing honest, friendly and fully transparent IT technical support.
You will be part of a small team providing support to clients and assisting with business development. The company is growing and currently supports 50 + clients and over 900 users. As part of a small team you will be given the freedom and responsibility to perform various roles, develop new skills and be a core part of the business as it continues to grow.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Answer calls from customers over the phone
* Log, investigate and resolve support request from customers
* Prioritise support requests to ensure that each customers fault is resolved within a timely manner
* Carry out onsite visits at their premises to resolve support requests and perform maintenance
* Design solutions, manage projects and undertake new installations for customers
* Investigate and deploy new technologies to meet client requirements and optimise internal procedures
Technical Skills Required
* Windows 7-10
* Windows Server 2008 – 2016
* AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO
* Office 365 – Exchange Online
* Virtualisation – HyperV
* Server Hardware – HP
* Routers/Firewalls/VPN
* Internet Technologies
